The brilliantly passionate Robin Black breaks down the evolution of Josh Barnett ahead of his UFC Fight Night Japan bout vs. Roy Nelson. Black looks back at Barnett's bouts with Randy Couture, Yuki Kondo, Mark Hunt, Pedro Rizzo, Brett Rogers, Sergei Kharitonov, and Frank Mir.

Black is a former glam rock star, professional MMA fighter, and current MMA color commentator and media figure on the Canadian MMA scene and internationally.
Great timeline and highlights of Barnett's career, really enjoyed it.
I look back at The Baby Faced Assasin's career and some of the fights that come to mind include Bobby Hoffman, Semmey Schilt, Alex Emiliananko, Big Nog, and his Superbrawl battles in his early days!
Big Wrestler with crafty submissions and grappling and some ground and pound. He developed his striking later in his career.
ocbadapple - Robin, I know Josh very well, I think you did a great job on this, and he would appreciate it as well
Bravo
Well he took the time to retweet it (presumably between drinking the blood of a three-headed hellhound and shaving his balls for battle with a two-handed-sword) so hopefully that means he approves.
He's also looking the leanest I think I've ever seen him. Gonna be a tough fight for Roy, it could come down to who's in better shape. Although Roy isn't exactly known for gassing despite his physique.
