I want Blagoy to win. He was super tough vs JDS
Ivanov via KO in RD 2.
I’ll take Ivanov by decision. Sakai lost to Arlovski and is not impressive in general.
Picking Ivanov by sub
RD 1: 10-9, Ivanov.
R1 to Ivanov but he looked bothered by those leg kicks at the end of the round.
RD 1: 10-9, Ivanov.
RD 2: 10-9, Sakai.
19-19, even.
Ivanov doesn't seem to carry much power in his punches though he swings for the fences.
1-1
RD 1: 10-9, Ivanov.
RD 2: 10-9, Sakai.
RD 3: 10-9, Sakai.
29-28, Sakai.
Bullshit fence grab might have cost Ivanov the fight right there.
Dat fence grab
Ivanov has never been a particularly exciting fighter for me. Comes in looking out of shape, gasses by the 2nd or 3rd round, punches always look slow and labored.
It’s true that Ivanov does himself no favors. Dude always looks gassed as fuck after 1 round.

I feel the same…Ivanov is super tough but he belongs in a group of other sloppy Hvwts that gas easily and just aren’t fun to watch…there are way too many HVWT fights like this and I can’t believe we are not getting better athletes yet
