Maybe she threw out the strap on.
It’d be like “Jon Jones just got shot”,
"wow, how terrible! "
No one wants to Alex sidelined for 3 years while he waits for Jones.
100%
Tom has advantages almost everywhere.
of course that pus wants to fight the guy that even Adesanya was able to take down.
Jon Jones is such a pussy.
I hate him so much.
Motherfucker is ducking Aspinal.
Hey Jon, you cant be a GOAT and a DUCK at the same time.
Stop ducking him bro.
Jons made a career out of beating smaller, undersized opponents.
Hey guys, member that time when Francis knocked out Stipe then called out Jon.
Then Jon got all Brendan Schaubish was like
“O fer sure…fer sure. Id love da take that fight. I just need money to do it. Talmbout Deontay Wilder money”
What a fag
Probably just wants to try to suck his cock or something.
He might end up being a favorite but I would definitely make Tom a favorite. He’s a true heavyweight, has knockout power in his strikes, can take guys down and submit them. He’s the complete package and he’s somebody I think even prime Jones struggles with. At Jones current age, Aspinall beats him.
There, fixed it.
I know.
Like, bad ass resume, one of the greatest, but cmon son. Just fight the guy and stop protecting your “0”.
I don’t like Jon, or what he’s saying here.
Why is everyone surprised Jones is ducking Aspinall?
Stipe is over 40 and has not won a fight in four years and Jones is spinning it to fans as they defense that he needs to make. Sure Jon, totally normal for dudes over 40 who have not won a fight since covid lockdowns to get UFC title shots at the end of 2024.
Jones has already ducked Ngannou, Cain, Werdum, JDS, Overeem, Brock, Carwin, Blaydes and prime Stipe for fifteen years… of course he is gonna duck Aspinall and wants to fight a guy who recently lost the MW title.
Does it even really protect your resume when everyone can clearly see whats happening? Kind of a bad look.
“After my last fight I said I wanted to fight at heavyweight, but had no answer [from the UFC], so I kind of forgot it and my plans have changed. But there was this message from Jon Jones last night, so I don’t know if this might change [plans moving forward]. Becoming a three-division champion is very hard and not many people try it, but if I have that opportunity, I just want to bring joy to everyone and a better life for my family.”
This is great to hear from Pereira, but a variety of obstacles need to be cleared in order for a potential matchup against Jones to take place. Not only is Jones just returning from a torn pectoral muscle, but the UFC legend is expected to fight Stipe Miocic in his Octagon return. If victorious in that fight, Jones was expected to then meet current interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall in a title unification bout.
Poatan is a beast.
LETS GO CHAMP
Once per year? That would be a treat for the fans at this stage. You realize he Jon has fought once… just one time…… literally a total of about sixty seconds in the octagon in the past 4 years. A little more than 4 years actually, with nothing imminent on the horizon.
It’s crazy! Between Jon Jones and Conor McGregor, I’m hard done by to think of anyone else in professional sports who will have left so many prime years on the shelf when their careers come to an end. Yet the UFC continues to bend over backwards for these two as though they’re invaluable cash cows.
