Has anyone tried this stuff?
You mean the hat?
Ah yes. The hat.
I tried it once and it was like when popeye eats spinach. I KTFO everyone around me and starting lifting the heaviest thing I could find.
GloverRampagedMyBrownEye - You mean the hat?
I mean the products.
Acai is so 2 years ago... It's all about Dino Kale shakes now....
I heard the acai plant/fruit is only effective if consumed within 24 hours of its harvest. I heard its mostly BS but I could be wrong. Others will have to chime in.
I drink this stuff.
I have definitely heard that in its processed form its complete and utter bullshit.
Mihow - ever drink orange juice? it's like orange juice, but with another fruit
Oranges?
I already use it. Just curious about the Bony Acai brand.
As far as how long it lasts after processing ? I don't know. On the bottle I have it says that you must consume the bottle 60 days after opening. Not that that means anything I guess. Might just be marketing ploy.
I did a search and there was nothing really talked about it. Just curious.
Thanx.
I figured with all the advertising that they have been doing with the UFC that someone here must have tried it by now.
Acai is Brazilian superfruit made famous by the Gracie diet. It has a deep purple color and unique gritty texture. Lots of jiujitsu guys swear by it. Yoplait makes a good version of it in yogurt. I like it in smoothies. I'm so bored. Fucking press conference is taking 4ever.
It was made famous before the gracies. It was made famous because of the anti-oxidant qualities and there was a massive wave of support behind anti-oxidants a few years back and everyone swore that acai was the best anti-oxidant in the world.
Then the whole gogi berry thing took off.
There is conflicting evidence about whether anti-oxidants make as much of a difference as they were once thought to.
But acai is still promoting big time.
