"Sugar" Shane Mosley puts his super welterweight title on the line against junior middleweight title holder Ronald "Winky" Wright in a scheduled 12-round undisputed championship bout.
In the opener, Joe Mesi faces off against one-time cruiserweight champion Vassiliy Jirov.
Man, this is gonna be a good one. Was watching footage of Mosley in camp over at maxboxing and he was looking good. But I assume Winky will be as prepared as possible, so I'm looking forward to a great fight.
As for Jirov/Baby Joe, I don't know what to make of that fight. I think Joe might be a bit big for him but it'll be interesting nonetheless.
Winky Wright is a smooth fighter. A few years back
he fought Fernando Vargas and he got ripped off!
IMO Jirov is a complete package, but you're right Jon,
Mesi is too big for him and probably hits alot
harder.
Going to be an interesting night of boxing.
Jirov seems super confident, though. It would be great to see him use his skill to take out the bigger fighter.
Mesi is making a big name for himself and is the pride of buffalo atm. He's got a good chin and lots of heart. Should be an interesting fight.
