There was a famous Maeda kick incident where either it was him or he was the one that kicked the opponent busting his eye open.

All hell breaks loose @ 4:40 when Great Antonio starts hitting Inoki HARD and Inoki loses his shit and then takes him down and soccer kicks his head. Inoki was a bad ass and knew how to win fights way before UFC 1 / Pancrase of 1993. He was able to use wrestling and soccer kicks to defeat the much bigger man - great video for those who havent seen it.
