I never knew Joe grew up in Brockton. Apparently my great grandfather was some sort of legend in Brockton and had "Manny Rafkin Day" named after him there. I doubt that holiday lasted long but I have a stack of newspaper articles about his contributions in Brockton. Anyone else from Brockton here?
