Buying the UFC over the internet. Advice?

I'm hoping to buy the ufc and stream it from my laptop to the TV. It looks like I can do it from ufc.tv, from yahoo sports, or a couple of other options. What's the best way to go? Are they all the same price?

 I have bought it on my comp about 5 times..never as good as tv but not horrid. yes its the same price.

 Buy a Roku box for 50 bucks and watch it on your TV like you would from PPV. It is the best way if you dont want to use PPV. Yes it is the same price.

SexyChica69 - If you are streaming it to tv and paying same price, why not just get the PPV in better quality?


I don't have cable.

So, what I'm hearing is that it doesn't work well and/or the quality isn't good?

I have tried about three times, and each time it was choppy, terrible quality, or just completely shut off, FWIW.

Also, if it's bad or doesnt work there is no refund, no matter what, under any circumstances.

 I've purchased the last UFC on ufc.tv on the pc, then hooked it up to the tv.  The quality wasn't the greatest at times but you had special features like listening to the corner's mike and different camera views.   Also you can rewatch for 24 hours.  I complained about my last experience and eventually got 3 free month supscription to UFC.TV.   It's kind of bare right now but got some cool fights you can watch.

Do you have any sports bars in your area? A lot of times you can watch it there for a small cover and is cheaper than buying it on the computer.

No place convenient. There were some places nearby that showed them, but they all stopped.

I've gotten it a few times while out of town at family events or kids Soccer tournaments. I got it fromt he UFC website. Only had issues once due to a crappy conection at the hotel we were staying at. Other than that it has worked pretty decent for a live stream.
