Cain Velasquez Signs With Affliction Clothing!

Looks like no more Dethrone Royalty for Cain....

I wonder if Kos owning a piece of Dethrone Royalty played a part on him not resigning with the company as Cain,Fitch,Kos & Swick were all Dethrone sponsored looks like only Kos & Fitch remain with them.

fitch is with RYU

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for Cain, but I hate to see companies like Affliction get more fighters that companies like Dethrone could use for exposure.

All of Afflictions stuff is identicle in everyway, with the only difference being the color combinations and the names on each shirt changing.

My mistake meant to say Kos & Swick remain with Dethrone, Fitch has been with RYU since his fight with Hendricks at UFC 141.

maybe dethrone cant afford to sponsor him anymore...

Cant help but think, Koscheck will be blaming Jav, for this 1...

Affliction feels not enough Mexicans are douching it up with their clothing and it's hurting their potential earnings. Phone Post

They look like $75 tapout shirts imo Phone Post

I remember when Dethrone first came out in 2009 they were sponsoring lots of AKA fighters & CGFT the likes of Cain,Diaz Brothers,Fitch,Kos,Melendez,Ninja Roberts,Thomson, & Swick, that why they appealed to me for helping out local talent and being founded here in San Jose Calif.

Crazy how Dethrone and Affliction's designs evolved from douchebag skull spamming.

Josh Thomson looks bigger than everypne else in that photo, and he's the one fighting at 155 lol

Affliction died when Tom Atencio left through the doors. It's disgusting that a man responsible for the insane success of a clothing company was thanked by bein put in the shitty position that he was. Say what u will about the clothes. They are lame. But Tom did SOOO much for fighters and for mma. So affliction can suck an egg for all I'm concerned.

Oh and congrats to Cain. Phone Post

That was my first thought. Is Josh really bigger than Cain or is it just the camera? Phone Post

Who owns affliction now? I was told randy couture but I can't remember at all ... Phone Post

Affliction Clothing was launched in August 2005 by Courtney Dubar, Todd Beard, Eric Foss, and Clifton Chason. In 2012, Courtney Dubar (current CEO) bought Todd Beard’s portions of the company, making him majority shareholder of Affliction Clothing.

sweet! $70 Cain tshirts!!!!

Afflictions has a great following of MMA fans and classy individuals who are trendsetters and tend to set the bar for design and style. When an afflictions shirt is spotted in the crowd, you know you are dealing with a tough but stylish fightfan who knows the difference between The thai plumm and Uchi Mata

He should fight Fedor - if he can get past Barnett. Phone Post
