Can someone tell me the real deal on Ari Bolden?

Lots of rumors flying round and he is doing a seminar at our school. I am only interested in knowing facts not what haters have to say. If you do need to hate try and do it constructively please.....NO Disrespect or Bashing Please!!!

Stand should be fine. A leather heavybag is a really nice piece of equipment; don't ruin that by leaving it outside. And apply mink oil when it starts to dry out.

You should try asking this question on the Atama BJJ or Canada subforums.

There was a huge thread on him in the Canada forum where his past and exploits were brought to light. Do a search for "Submissions 101". It's a long thread but it really gives you the facts on Ari Bolden and his alleged grappling background.

And there's a forum member here - I think his handle is Roccy - who trained for a bit under Ari. From what I remember, he didn't have very positive things to say about Ari.

That show is a very funny subject for me... I still am not allowed to talk about my TapouT relationship untill certain things are done... Yes I was a part the company and their long before the show. I fight professionally and have my own gym. Since I have left Sprawl has taken me in and gave me a new home! To bad certain people don't understand the meaning of take care of the people who take care of you!

He is awesome! Screw the haters! I trained with him for three years and feel proud of the blue belt (3x silver tips) that he gave me. I will remember my time fondly under Sensei and we still keep in touch, often exchanging the latest in BJJ and JJ concepts and techniques.
