Can UFC Leave Vegas?

Years ago, this would be a laughable notion. In light of the most recent NSAC transgression, maybe it's time to stop booking fights altogether in Vegas.

How would hurt more? UFC, losing its surefire spit to hold fights, or the casinos that would lose the added gaming revenue when big fights roll into town (especially with Mayweather retiring)

Maybe an 18 month protest would shake things up? Obviously they'd still be dealing with other state commissions and non-tourist markets could be overexposed quickly, but the foreign market still seems strong, and it could force UFC to run 5 less shows per year, fattening other cards with talent. As an East coaster I would love for them to go back to Atlantic City more. But they aren't leaving Vegas

It'd be nice for them to spread the events around more. East coast, midwest, outside of the states.

But no, they won't be leaving Vegas any time soon. Especially not over recent events. Maybe if the commission did something to hurt the UFC, but it'd have to be something huge. Vegas = $$$

I wish they would but I dont see it happening. Nevada is a medical marijuana state so its baffling their athletic commission is so against something that they prescribe as medicine.

Of course you want them in your home away from home ;) Phone Post 3.0
