Live To Fight is very excited to announce that we are teaming up with former UFC Welterweight Champion, Matt Serra! A few weeks ago Live To Fight held an event with Matt Serra for 2 year old Jake Staniszewski. We raised $5,000 for the family. Serra was so impressed with what we are doing that he is joining forces with our charity!
Join us at Serra BJJ Academy in Huntington for our next event; Live To Fight for Brian. This very special event is being held to help Brian Baney, the dad of local MMA fighter Trever Baney. Brian is fighting brain cancer.
The MMA seminar is being taught by top trainer Ray Longo and the Gi BJJ seminar is being led by one if the pioneers in the sport, Renzo Gracie. Proceeds from Live To Fight for Brian will go to help Brian Baney win his fight against brain cancer and towards LTFs charitable mission.
Other guest instructors include Serra, Al Iaquinta and Eddie Truck Gordon of this season's TUF. Tickets are being sold at East Coast MMA Fight Shops (both Rockville Centre and Brooklyn locations) Serra BJJ Academy in Huntington, and at www.LiveToFight.org
Live To Fight is a not for profit organization which serves as the platform from which the martial arts, combat sports, and MMA community can stand up together and fight relentlessly for those who are fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
