If Cejudo really wants to stick around he could fight Merab headlining a Fight Night. Guess if he wants to make the cut he could probably get the Moreno vs Pantoja winner in a FLW title fight because UFC gives a lot of title fights to fighters coming off loses these days. O’Malley is getting the next title shot vs Sterling.

Umar Nurmagomedov, Yadong and Sandhagen coming off big wins. I’d be up for Umar or Yadong vs Petr Yan next.

Seeing Johnson return Fri night reminds you fans never got the Johnson Cejudo rubber match.
Thats a shame.

I like it. I was surprised we didn’t get Figgy Smalls and Merab to headline a card, I have 0 interest with him staying at 125.

Funny enough, I think Figueiredo trains with Cejudo now. Maybe they were worried about Merab grinding him out given the size and the styles. Thats not a great fight for Fig.
