The Sultan - I always ask to have my taxes taken out so i never owe money. I would hate to have a huge bill in the spring every year.
Taxes are something that if you are a crafty, sneaky mother fucker, you can save a ton of money.
Own like 4 goats and you can get a farm tax write off, shit like that (I'm not saying if you own 4 goats you get a tax write off, but it's something like that ;p).

i remember thinking this when just about every contender reaches the title...then comes the realization they were fighting for money and a spot on the rankings and now they have achieved that spot there goal is to keep it and the easiest way to do that is by not fighting. as long as his champion salary can pay his taxes and a new jet ski, im sure his head will be buried in cans of bud light.
Anyone who has ever been unexpectedly screwed by taxes after having a tiny bit of success understands. It SUCKS and totally blindsides you. I'll catch some haters for this comment but until you have been down that road you don't understand how messed up the tax code is. You can't multiply wealth by dividing it.
This is why I like the Tea Party and their roots. T.E.A. Stands for taxed enough already!

This is not unique to UFC fighters. The guy who cuts your hair does the exact same thing.

This. It's really simple, actually, but a lot of people don't know it until they get the tax bill. I'm surprised the UFC doesn't cover this with all their fighters.
