Seriously, I had to smile reading your post. Extremely hard to REASONABLY think that for ONE minute, Chael didn't know what he was doing. Every realtor knows that Chael's behavior is criminal. It's part of their licensing requirements.
Who doesn't know that lying to a lender, preparing a false document, and passing $70K to a straw buyer through your mother's company ISN'T illegal. Sometimes, we have to look at the actual evidence in an objective light. When one does so here, Chael does not look so good. I've been of fan of his...
