I agree. Im 100% a Gi guy. But watching it is awful
Some gi guys are pretty exciting, like victor hugo. The lapel game has really clogged up a lot of action though.
I’m a bjj black belt and have trouble sometimes watching gi matches too. If your not watching it live, I find it helps to jump to the parts where notable transitions happen, like a guard pass, mount, submission attempt etc. It can make it a lot more interesting.
