I decided to check out some of their wiki’s to see who they had to fight, maybe giving some insight on why they didn’t quite get there.

Then I came across Kelvin Gastelum’s page…

Not many guys, but out of active fighters, RDA comes to mind. Pettis, Holloway, Oliveira.

I had a conversation with a friend about this recently, I feel like a lot of those guys could have benefited from taking a step back in competition.

Death

While in custody for the child pornography charges, Fulton, age 44, was found dead by deputies at the Linn County Jail on the morning of July 10, 2021. The cause of death was suicide by hanging. An investigation into his death is underway, with an autopsy still pending.

Kelvin had all the tools to be a dominant champion. I really believe that.

For some reason he couldn’t maintain weight or fitness. I don’t know but I’m guessing lack of discipline
