Parillo seems like a good coach, but man Chito has terrible striking defense. He’s lucky he has a great chin. I hope its something they correct, because that chin isn’t gonna last forever.
He is the type of midget class guy I’d destroy. No defense and just throwing down may work against other manlets but he’d know there are levels to this shit when he felf my 200 lbs of power.
Weird flex, but ok
Actually that was amazing defense
Not sure what you were watching
Very few of those landed clean, don’t just read the punch stats
I came to say this. Rewatch the fight and see how he rolled or cover up most of those punches. Most didn’t land clean.
I bet you’re a fun guy to hangout with
Chito did take a few undefended punches and was able to eat them. He did block most of the shots though
Look at how many strikes Font threw, actually landed and Chito’s face after the fight. Terrible defense? Looks like he barely got touched and when he did they were grazing or he rolled with them lol
No Im not.
This, rob is the one with bad defense
The little chito threw he tended to land and rob’s defense and chin weren’t there
masterful counters and defense was what I saw
His footwork and the way he deflected and rolled almost all of the punches was very slick, his footwork and timing were top notch
OP knows 0 about Boxing lol
I guess ill have to rewatch. I thought he ate multiple big shots each round
Helluva chin though….that MF’er gets hit with everything but the kitchen sink and still doesn’t show damage or get knocked down.
He actually did stop a lot of those shots from landing clean and his shoulder/arm/hand defense was impressive
But he had zero head movement and many times willingly stood there without even trying to be defensive at all
He definitely took a lot less than the striking stats would indicate but I wouldn’t say “very few”
He ate a good amount of clean shots. I just don’t think Font put a lot of steam on them and Chito’s chin is bananas.
fair enough
I think he was managing distance and slipping shots with his foot movement
Head not necessarily bobbing and weaving but his torso was mostly moving away from the power and thus his head was as well.
He took some flush ones no doubt, but less than 15 or so IMO…and everytime he got in that danger zone he made Rob pay with a well timed counter.
Nobody has skin or chin to just eat all the shots that the punch stats show, those simply weren’t flush and the power was taken out of them with his movement.
That performance is best described as Slick.

I thought it was beautiful to watch
I’d say 20 or fewer power shots and between 50-75 total that I would consider “clean” (mostly landed or completely landed)
Yeah his body was constantly moving and his defensive style is very efficient. I love to watch the guy fight.
I won’t argue against your point except it seemed like more than what you’re saying but I wouldn’t mind watching that fight again.
High guard and trying to catch strikes with his elbows. It leaves the body exposed and uppercuts can get through but it seems like great technique to me. Yan does the same and he’s the best boxer in the UFC

I don’t even like Chito but his defense is what won him that fight. If he ate all those shots clean, he would have been finished.
