                    <p>Last week rumors surfaced that Gina Carano had been in negotiation with Bellator and shortly after Bellator announced the return of women&#39;s MMA to the organization. The discussion with Carano had simply been a rumor, until today Bellator President Scott Coker confirmed it on the MMA Hour:</p>

"We've had one conversation with Brent and Scott and that was it. It was just one quick conversation and there was nothing really made of it. I think that Gina really wants to fight at 135. As far as Cyborg, we haven't talked to her because she is under contract and fighting with Invicta. But if she ever becomes available, then we will have a conversation with her. We don't have a 135 division and I can't say what (Carano) is going to do because she's got film commitments and she is very busy and has a good acting career. It's going to be up to her and her schedule."

Basically he is saying, she wants to make a crap load of money for one fight with Ronda. I don't blame her, make that money while she can. It could be a 7 figure pay day for her, why risk that and take some fights at 145.

She could win a lot at 145 perhaps regain a title in Bellator with a very friendly contract allowing her to do movies, etc like King Mo and Tito.

In UFC, she'll be a lamb to slaughter (Ronda) and Dana wont let her on a trampoline without him Frank and Lorenzo having a say so.

Not to mention the whole fight in your weight class not 10 pounds lighter.

Bellator is the better bet for Carano.
