It’s not a coincidence they both come from Dan Lambert’s WWE wannabe clown show. The truth is Colby and Jorge have beat the absolute worst fighters to get multiple title shots, in Colby’s case 3, and Jorge’s 2
Overview:
Colby beats washed Robbie Lawler to fight champion Kamaru Usman
Colby then beats washed Tyron Woodley (guy who was knocked out by Jake Paul) to get a rematch against Kamaru and another title shot.
Colby then 50-44’s Jorge Masvidal to get a title shot against Leon Edwards while multiple contenders are winning fights in his division

Jorge finishes the most overrated fighters in the history of the sport in Darren Till and Ben Askren, then doctor stoppages Nate Diaz for a title shot against Kamaru Usman.
Jorge then does nothing and gets another title shot against Kamaru
