that's a possibility, i think if cole uses his reach the stand up would be competitive.
Mcgregor takes this IMO. Cole has always been a gatekeeper , Mcgregor has a lot of potential and could be a real contender in a couple of fights

Couldn't finish? He had a shattered knee, he did well to finish the fight! 
No thanks. I'd rather see him fight Diego at 55. If he does come back at 145, then I'd rather see him in with Cub or somebody else higher up the ladder.

He's had 2 fights in the UFC. 1 of them he finished in about a minute against someone who was on a 3 fight win streak and the other one he dominated while his knee was completely fooked!
But yeah he's not a finisher.

I like Cole. I think it would be a pretty competitive match. Cole's ground-game is much better than McGregor's, but if he's not able to put McGregor on the mat, it will be a long night for him.
That fight would not go well for Miller. I like the guy, but he would lose, badly.
