Coleman's wrestling is like MMA kryptonite

It doesn't matter how tough or strong you are. If you stay close to him long enough, his wrestling could very well suck the life out of you. I feel bad for Coleman's next opponent.

Mo Smith thinks you're wrong. So does Pete Williams. Oh and Fedor. And Shogun. And Crocop. And Big Nog. I mean look at that list, he's been beaten by great strikers AND great grapplers. Talented wrestler, yes, MMA kryptonite, no.

i dont hate coleman, that's just what you say because im not a delusional fanatic like you. i respect him and what he achieved, but mma kryptonite? today? no. Sorry, a 29-28 decision against Stephan Bonnar does not prove that he has become "mma kryptonite".

**** SPOILER ALERT ****

1)
Single Leg: Hospital
Double Leg: Cemetery

2)
"The Antidote" is just one fight away from his title shot in the UFC LHW tournament.

3)
ttt for a UFC Hall of Famer

4)
Lyoto is watching Mark Coleman very closely and is scared

Coleman was only at 70 percent for Bonnar.  Look out, next opponent.

xcouturefan - HexRei, you doubted Coleman and thought Bonnar was going to win their fight.

Do you want to be proven wrong a second time?

proven wrong a second time? how? we aren't even discussing a particular upcoming matchup.

and regardless, if you think the performance he put in against bonnar would beat machida or any of the LHW top tier, you are just plain nuts. better hope he was holding back in that fight because no way is forrest, rampage, rashad, machida, jardine, or vera gonna go down that way. Or Randy, if the talk of him dropping actually comes true.

xcouturefan - What's Machida going to do when he's pinned on his back and getting smashed in the face?

Nothing. Because that isn't going to happen.

ok tuf noob, go back to watching your box set of tuf season 2

Wow. You are GOOD. How did you know?

has anyone ever swept coleman? i can't think of anyone. that just goes to show you how incredible his base is. unless you have the best subs in the world, you can really only out kickbox him. which unfortunately for him is possible.

Tap out

Give credit where credit is due, for a guy with ONE game, wrestling, his wrestling is very good. In all his MMA fights he has been on his back ONCE...

He's dangerous to anyone, don't fool yourself, but his holes are pretty obvious

xcouturefan brings up some excellent points here as usual.

You see, Coleman has the eye back. He spent the last 10 years raising his children and fighting here and there so he could buy them a swimming pool and stuff like that.

Now he has the eye back and is willing to do things like make a game plan, train with a good camp and work on his cardio.

2009=1012 = The Hammer Years

Anyone ever had a "good" strong wrestler on top of you?

Whether it was their first day of grappling and you eventually submitted him or he was a purple belt...it sucks!!

He might be a tough matchup if he can get his hands on u and get u in the clinch.

I wouldnt be calling him a favorite over machida ....mahicda is very agile.

To think he can even compete ,much less  do well in today's 205 class is awesome.....

The new new george foreman?

George was even a bit older- but  still  this may become a great run for the  hammer?!
