Can I get some recommendations on compression sleeves for nogi?
I have 30" thighs cold so I don’t need any pencil necks chiming in. Cool. Thanks.

Get laid on your own time
I have a few of the basic ones on Amazon and they work fine
I also have the bauerfeind ones from my ortho that work even better. They cum in different styles and the ones i have are solid. I’ll take a Pic and post tomorrow if you really wanna see it
I’d like to see them yes. Thank you.
Go be useless somewhere else.
The ortho i got this from is the team doc for a pro football team. This is what he put on me and told me to use to get back to grappling and it’s helped reduce pain and give me my mobility back.
I’ll use the other cheap ones on Amazon but they’re more like tight, short weight lifting style. I prefer these ones i feel more secure moving
Thank you very much
So many options. What was wrong with your knee if I may ask, since I’m assuming you had the brace? Or was it just a sleeve? I have tears in both menisci with one knee that locks up on me in certain positions, am arthritic in both and patella shifts around and swells up on one. My knees are shit basically. Does your brace have some padding on the knee?
One knee i tore the acl and lcl, the other i tore meniscus and mcl. Both injuries over 10 years ago training, and i humbly declined surgery
Yes there’s padding and compression, keeps the knee secure when i lift or i roll/ run
Shit i wear them around the house when the pain gets bad, normally around winter when it’s cold out lol
I have like 4 or 5 pairs of them these bauerfeinds. I’m not right in the head so i have multiple pairs of these and the cheap Amazon ones
I’ve never tried a wetsuit for training lol i wear one when surfing here in Cali.
I use the ones on Amazon for my shoulders and they work just fine. I have like 4 of them so i can rotate through when i need to. Plus washing them daily wears out the velcro
This style works. The other ones doesn’t work at all. This will keep my shoulder locked in place with the various injuries I’ve had.
I believe the first time i trained with you was with one arm due to the injuries lol
I wear it under a rashguard. Gi and nogi. Your partners will be fine as long as you wear it under your rashguard
I have slaps on both shoulders that include supraspinatus, labrum, and biceps head tears dating all the way back to 2011 or so.
Don’t know if you can wear in comp, but honestly, will it really matter???
They have a double arm version one. I use one side at a time when i need to.
For me, prp works wonders and I’m pretty much healed up after a month or so of injections. I just retear the shit training and doing stupid stuff.
Getting bilateral Shoulder arthrograms next week as my doc won’t do any more injections until we get a current look at them.
I can still bench 225 for reps and lift semi heavy but i don’t go any heavier than that these days. No need for it
I’ve enjoyed the products from McDavid USA.

I had my biceps repaired last year and my physical therapy dude put me on a blast of testosterone and this combo of bpc and tb, for 6 weeks. Paired with his neubie machine, i was back in the gym rolling in 6 weeks, and fully using my arm like normal/new by 8 weeks post op. Of course the surgeon who cut me is elite but post op is just as important
Reporting back.
So I went with Anaconda fightwear sleeves only because Bauerfeind was not in my budget (though those would have been my first choice), and was really disappointed. I followed the sizing chart recommendation precisely but the sleeve bunches up on the knee and it rolls down my leg during training. It provides very little to no compression at all, contrary to what their website claimed. Tried to return it. They won’t take it back because they didn’t like “the crease” that having it on for a whopping 2 minutes left.
Back to the drawing board.

How did you determine the level of support you need?
I have had two meniscus surgeries on my right knee. There are so many choices for knees there…
