Conditioning Question?

I'm going to be doing my first Muay Thai Fight and I had a conditioning question for ya'll! =)

In preperation for a fight what would you do...

  • Lifting: High Reps/Low Sets or Low Reps High Sets (w/ weight increase)?

  • Cardio: Long Distance Running or Sprints?


How much training do you have? being a first fight stress will be high, and one thing that helps maintain form in high stress is RELENTLESS pad work and pad drills. At least 6 to 9 rds of high intensity pad work. Doing it at least 3-4 days a week in addittion to any sparring and training.

But I agree with The above about crossfit for overall conditioning.
