Like check, I'm still in shock. I just have to work harder now and prove to be truly worthy of Eddie's trust and the belt.
Ring Girl - I still haven't put the belt down. My hands are cramping up, especially trying to take a shower with one arm up so it doesn't get wet. I'm also just posting now 'coz it took me that long to type with one hand.

I was convinced I wasn't going to get it last night, and I was okay with
that. Mine was the last one handed out and like checkuroil, I'm still in
shock (and while I didn't sleep with it per se, it was on my nightstand
so when I woke up, it reminded me that it wasn't a dream).
Congrats to John Catalano (aka Cashalaaaaaaaan) on getting his blue.
When I see that guy roll, its nothing but pure intensity. Over the last 8
months, he's kept an open mind and worked really hard to incorporate
solid technique to that intensity. Well deserved my man.
I'd also like to thank my 10th Planet brothers Pit and checkuroil, who
have pushed me and helped develop my game. I want it to be clear, I
would not have gotten promoted if it wasn't for both of you being the
awesome sparring partners that you are. It was just as much of an
honor to be promoted alongside the both of you, as it was to be
promoted at all.
And finally I want to thank Eddie Bravo. I've been lucky enough to call
him a friend for a few years now, and just as lucky to call him my
instructor for the last year and a half. He has completely changed the
way I look at Jiu-Jitsu and I owe a lot to him both on and off the mat.
My goal now is to train harder, work harder, and dedicate myself to
making 10th Planet a name to be respected and feared. More than my
own personal development, I want my team to develop into the killers I
know we all can be. If I can be a part of that, that's enough for me. In
short, I want to make Eddie and my school proud. Thanks again, guys.
