Wow, Conor actually doubling down. What a POS
Yeh this was pretty bad - he admitted he didnât send it
Dustin should demand proof of funds before he releases any documentation. For all one knows, the Notorious Conman will shop Dustinâs sensitive project details to raise the funds elsewhere since he doesnât have that kind of money himself. Probably con some benefactors in saying Dustinâs project needs 1MM, pocket 500K for himself, give Dustin the âpromisedâ 500K and pat himself on the back.
lol OK, he wants to know where the moneyâs going, whatâs wrong with that? I vet every single charity I donate to, I think everyone whoâs giving does. What stops Dustin from doing something shitty like printing 1,000,000 limited edition pictures of him KOing Conor for the âcharityâ and slandering him? This is a big money big name game, heâd be a fool to just hand over half a million without this process.
Big surprise. Welfare recieving trash, throws dolly, punches old man and now doesnt hold up his promise to donate to charity.
People like him should be hung
Hmm idk something isnât sitting right with me on both sides. If I was Connor I wouldnât fork over half a mill without knowing for sure where itâs going and if that bs with Dustin about already getting the 500k and just hyping the fight thatâs pretty petty and slander. Either way none of us have any proof whatâs actually going on and we never will. Just wait till one gets KO and all will be talking shit regardless
Wolf tickets to sell the third fight
Thereâs a quote from Conor in this thread confirming he didnât pay it, but you focus on a tweet from some nobody on twitter whoâs too stupid to understand Dustinâs wife was thanking Conor for the pledge ,not that the funds were received.
If Conor asked for an accounting of where that money would go and didnt receive it, I get it.
If he DID receive it, well what the fuck?
Donât forget when Ariel promised Alistair an iPad too.
Let me ask you this. Weâre you in the same general area when they made the agreement/deal? Soo how do you know what happened if he did or didnât get the money? Could all be BS to hype the fight? Or he could have already donated it and is just playing his games like Connor always does. Donât try and correct me on something you donât know about just like I donât.
Fook. What a coontâŠ
Where Conor fucked up (in addition to not keeping his word), is when he said publicly that he would donate 500k. When he said that I raised an eyebrow.
If he had just said 5k, or 10k, and then actually given it, then that would be generous and praise worthy. But it seems he just wanted to look good.
Dustin was on Teddy Atlas podcast, days after his win. The co host of the show asked him about Conorâs donation. Dustin said, âI havenât received it yet but I know he is good for it.â
Also, Teddy Atlas gave 3k to Dustinâs foundation in a previous episode.
What the hell is Conor even saying in that reply? Is he intentionally using obtuse phrasing so no one can call him out on his BS when he doesnât live up to his pledge?
I agree that maybe his true intent.
But breaking it down, he appears to be accusing Dustin of not providing an adequate detail/plan/process of where the money will go. He seems to suggest that his charity donations need a full accounting of what the money will be used for, and was dissatisfied with Dustinâs correspondence, and so stopped replying.
He then makes a strange statement, âOtherwise it goes walking. As is the case with a lot of these foundations, sadly. You took the McG over the belt shows I was right.â
Which could be interpreted as accusing Dustin of the intent to pocket the donation, (or at least shave some off), as he seems to say that Dustin is just in it for the money, rather than higher principles, by taking the âMcGâ fight over the title fight.
Smart move by Conor, in the past his mind game tactics worked, so he should be trying to mess with Dustin anyway he can.
Conor is just trying to get in Dustinâs head via a dickhead move like not paying what he promised.
Fuck him, Dustin is over it anyways. His sauce is always sold out and the biggest satisfaction will be easily besting McGregor again and retiring him from the sport.
