Conor is done…. Sad to see

Conors overconfident schtick gets really tired once you’ve been knocked out, choked out and only beat a sub top ten fighter in over 5years.
He’s struggling to ignore the fact that he’s got handled against high level competition recently.
He needs to start winning for people (and himself) to start believing it again.

You can’t win before the fight.

Everyone’s analyzing words and body language.

Time for Connor to start fighting some youtubers.

Conor is misunderstood. He is a good person. Everyone who he smacked around probably deserved it.

What shirt?

Was a big fan during his rise to glory but this post pretty much nails it.

Yeah, it’s certainly fair to speculate on the demeaner of a fighter. I agree Dustin doesn’t seem rattled by Conor at all. He’s cool and collected. Doesn’t mean anything for predicting the fight, though.

What I find interesting is that Dustin at least says he isn’t going in with a game plan, that he never really uses one, and just sees where things go.

Whereas Conor’s coaches say they’ve worked on a game plan for this fight. So that’s intriguing, the fight plan tailer-made for the other guy vs the winging it fighter. So curious to see what Conor pulls out for this fight!

Oh you mean the UFC Official Channel? Lol lying ass

That’s not to say Dustin’s camp hasn’t trained for Connor’s strengths of course but I think Dustin is so battle tested and rounded that he doesn’t really need a plan so much. Although thr early TD last time was a good idea however Connor was the one who stayed in the clinch to his detriment.

Yeah, I do mean that. Sorry that I’m really good at summarizing events, to the degree I could apparently work for the UFC. LOL

Conor won the clinch battles last time IMO

Agreed.

Until recently, though I’m a Conor fan, I’ve thought “bet the house on Dustin to win this one too.”
I felt I was seeing Conor “getting old in the ring” in the last fight. But re-visiting the fight, he was actually doing pretty damn well, hitting Dustin even more than I remembered, and yeah getting the better of Dustin in the clinch too, knees, shoulders, elbows, foot stomp, reversal, etc.

My question is: how does Conor actually deal with the calf kicks, if Dustin decides to keep throwing them?

What’s the technique? My layman’s intuition is: if Dustin just keeps throwing them it doesn’t take landing many to change the fight again. But I ain’t no MMA fighter.

Nah you read the top comment then butchered it here, just stop

Conor has lost to Khabib, Mayweather and Dustin in recent times. What a fucking bum! How dare he lose to the greatest boxer and undefeated boxer of his generation? How dare he lose to an all time great undefeated MMA fighter? How dare he lose to one of the best LW fighters of all time and an all action fighter who he previously ko’ed?

What a fucking bum. He should be doing the prelims and fighting guys ranked in the bottom half of the top 155 lw’s in the world.

You have a point.

LMAO okay bro. No 2 humans could possibly see Conor’s behavior and come to the same conclusion. Now I’m interested in reading the comment because knowing how retarded most people are, it’ll be 2 statements that are barely alike and your dumb fag nerd ass is conflating them.

McGregor sounded like he’s forcing himself to trash talk

Is that the comment you’re referring to? That’s the top comment and it’s literally nothing like the statement I made LMAO you are retarded

He had the edge in the clinch but to what ultimate end? His arms got drained more from that to no real benefit from being in it. He did not need to stay there. Every second grappling unless Connor has is able to land damage or come close to a sub is more of a benefit to Dustin.

Move away. Dustin landed leg kicks in Connor’s karate stance in fight 1 as well.
