Whatever the emotion you have about it, he’s 3-3 in MMA since moving up from FW and that also included a majority dec win and a clearly over the hill and hand picked opponent in Cowboy.
Not very impressive any way you look at it.

I have no emotion in it. He lost to 50-0 Floyd Mayweather, 29-0 Khabib, and to 25-6 Dustin. The guy is fighting nothing but the best of the best. He fought Diaz on a week’s notice as well.
When you’re supposed to be the beat, you’re supposed to fight the best. And he’s 3-3. And Diaz is the one who had a week’s notice. Connor had an opponent change but he was training. And he also only squeeked by in the rematch. So he beat Alvarez in super impressive fashion and he beat over the hill handpicked Cowboy. Not very impressive.
Lol, you want him to beat Mayweather in boxing? Who is arguably top 5 if not top 10? Makes no sense.
There has to be some critical thinking in the level of competition he has fought. He is not only fighting the best but arguably the best EVER in their sports and weight classes.
I’d venture to say Poirer was another hand-picked opponent that Conor thought he could dismantle with ease.
Who should he have fought? Dustin beat Hooker, Gaethje, Alvarez, and Holloway.
Tony, Charles maybe?
Chandler fought Hooker on the same card that Dustin fought Conor.
If that was a response to me, I didn’t count Floyd, I said 3-3 in mma post FW. Fighting the best and beating the best are 2 diff things.
Yes and he lost to Khabib. An all time possibly best 155lber ever. He lost to Diaz after an opponent switch on a weeks notice and lost to Dustin. He also holds 2 wins over 2 of those guys.
That said I think Dustin finishes him tonight and Conor retires.
This. I’m not a big Conner fan. But the guys only going against the best aside cowboy after his prime.
That being said I still want Dustin to take his lunch money.
I want Conor. But I expect him to lose. Hope he can pull it off. The Muhammad Ali of MMA
Either Connor destroys Tony with precision, or Tony eats his shots, Tony comes forward and bloodies and beats Connor until Connor gives up.
Connor is the more skilled fighter, but has less fight in him. He was winning the second fight… until he wasnt anymore… Those calf kicks made a big difference though.
We expected Conor to lose. Not sure why he took this fight. Was hoping he could pull it off. Tarnishes his reputation. If he is so rich, he wouldn’t have taken the risk of losing
Dustin ended Conor’s career as a fighter. He had Conor jumping guillotines. Who ever predicted that? OP was totally right.
Conor looked to be winning the stand up until they both started clipping each other when Dustin was closing in. It was stupid of him to go for the guillotine. He also didn’t push off the hips when having his feet on Dustin to stand back up. He kept reaching for the guillotine from guard.
I wonder if he trained a lot off his back from this fight because of the 2nd fight when Dustin took him down. Or possibly he felt that Dustin wouldn’t come in with the leg kicks and have a top game strategy?
good night, Irish pride
Honestly, I think he forgot how to win a tough fight. Why on Earth would he jump guillotine?
He was but he forgot to train his boxing. Which ironically is what he only trained in his last fight. His hands looked bad but his kicks looked decent. He’s not training hard enough.
How embarrassing on that flight back to Ireland for those mark fans who thought Conor was going to win.
it was strange. at first I thought he was pummeling to bring Dustin’s head up off his hips. it was terrible fight IQ as well. a few more of those leg kicks and dustin would have been hampered in the next rounds. he rushed in like a mad man to get that takedown.
charles vs dustin should be great and hopefully we get RDA versus the both of them. Conor needs to retire.
