But Davis was Judo'd to the ground then TKO'd from a headlock. Rousey's stand up was not the reason she lost

Her trainers (Pitbull bros) aren't exactly known for their kicking game either. She'd probably need to find another camp if she wanted to develop that part of her game.
That said, most of the top 10 women strongly favor boxing over kickboxing anyway, so it's not like she's the only one who eschews kicks.

Fair enough, I stand corrected. My memory for Rousey fights isn't the greatest but the fact remains, she doesn't have the "best striking" in WMMA.

Shayna lowers her guard: Beth lowers her punches.

Beth touches her with a jab and misses with her rear hand. Why? Because she didn't move. At all. Literally the only thing I can say that separates her from the beginners at my gym is that she's not afraid to get hit and I'm pretty sure many of the beginners aren't afraid either.

Completely disagree with that statement. Someone else KO'd Marina, Juliana Pena exposed Shayna, and the Cesar Gracie girls exposed Jessamyn Duke (Miriam Nakamoto KO'd her less than halfway into the 1st & Leslie Smith TKO'd her less than halfway into the 1st). But somehow Bethe is the one getting the credit for taking them all out.

of course i have a valid point. the poster i quoted said bethe had proven that the other 3 horsewomen were a joke. i pointed out that she hadn't fought all 3 of them. that should be pretty fucking simple to understand, and its validity is unquestionable.

Ronda is improving WAY faster than Correia. Which makes sense, given that she is four years younger and trains like an Olympian. Ronda is the one who adds completely new facets to her game almost every time we see her fight. Bethe might have refined her existing style since entering the UFC, but I haven't seen her add anything new to her repertoire.

That girl is delusional. Like it or not Rousey has proven time and time again that she is the best. I'm sure there are people that were able to beat up Tyson's training partners and friends too but it didn't help them when they got their ass kicked by him.
