Cote couldn't keep up with the sport. His peak was his fight with Anderson, and then it took off leaving him in the dust

I find it surprising considering his camp kept up with the sport, and was a leader at times.

He didn't really FIGHT Anderson. It was the worst fight in UFC history. 

He did better than Maia or Thales did before he hurt his leg.
