I mean, yeah, technique over brute strength... I get it... but what if ladies like these stormed the scene ala Bob Sapp? Would THEY find success much like Sapp did? I can't see how these chicks wouldn't just run through Gina Carano unless there were weight categories. Are there? I actually don't even know how women's MMA is set up. I apologize.
Actually, Nicole Bass wouldn't do half bad. I was teaching some grappling classes at Derrick Panza's about 4.5 years ago and I was in the ring demonstrating something and this jacked female comes walking in and starts watching the class. I thought wow that looks like Nicole Bass, after the class she came over and introduced herself and it was actually her. She was training with Derick for a fight against Joey Buttafuco. She asked me to show her some of the locks we were working on in class (Kimura, and an Anaconda choke). She picked them up very quickly and needless to say she was even stronger than she looked. Very explosive when she did comit to a move, kind of training with a gung ho partner LOL. The only thing was that her cardio was pretty terrible. In all honestly, she was an absolute sweetheart. Very nice person, I am a long time wrestling fan so I was able to appreciate some of the stories she was kind enough to share with me. I just figured I'd share since I clicked in on this thread. TTT
