Cris Cyborg vs Claressa Shields might be coming to a ring soon.
Cris Cyborg is known for her power and striking. A BJJ black belt that isn’t known for her abilities on the ground. Known for her ability to land the knockout or at least win the fight on her feet. With a record of 27-2 Cyborg will always be known as one of the greatest of all time.
So why boxing?
Cyborg after leaving the UFC decided to go o Bellator MMA. Where she won the featherweight title and held it till the organization dissolved.
Now in PFL Cris Cyborg is still boxing. Her last fight was crazy she landed an incredible knockout.
Claressa Shields is the best in the business in boxing. She’s also in the PFL and she also is a champion in boxing. The two time Olympic Gold Medalist is 14-0 in the ring and has a record of 2-1 in MMA.
There’s been some beef between Cyborg and Shields lately with Shields threatening a lawsuit and just some weird words back and forth. They were both long time friends but now since Cyborg is boxing and Shields is doing MMA there friendship has come to a cross-roads. Cyborg is willing to take the risk of entering the ring and fighting Shields in her own world. An incredible risk for Cyborg but she’s willing to do it.
