UK boxers cut weight but its been less of a thing in UK MMA due to those guys coming from gyms which have their roots in BJJ, kickboxing, Muay Thai etc
The prevalence of weight cutting in US MMA comes from most of those guys having backgrounds in college / school wrestling. Other nations have had to catch up / learn that shit.
