Look back at other fighters - Carwin had 8 first round KO's and was still working his day job as an engineer when he fought Lesnar's. Same can be said for jDs, Cain and many others. If the UFC had pushed them half as much as they do Conor they wouldn't be so desperate.

Unlike most of the guys who are in Rio right now, Conor doesn't have a fight to prepare for, so he can spend his time leisurely sitting by the pool sipping on adult beverages with the boss.
