The UFC’s war on drugs was brought in to facilitate the sale of the org to IMG. The Fertittas knew that a dirty sport could jeopardise a deal. Think back to just how ferociously they pushed the PED issue.
Now we’re at the point where it’s a hindrance to their business.
You don’t go from ‘we want to clean this sport up’ to ‘not my problem’ when it comes to drug testing.

This is what Conor said in his Barstool interview the other day. The guy who never tried to defend his UFC titles, the guy who has gone 1-3 in the last six years while he is about to turn 35 and won’t enter the USADA pool hopes for a hundred more fights…

The UFC can approve an exemption to the 6 month rule and go by the two passed test standard instead.
