I haven’t watched pro wrestling in decades but do enjoy the stories of the wrestlers when I was growing up. I sometimes forget how old I am and just assume fans are TUF noobs these days. When in reality most weren’t born during the dark days of the sport.
As big of a fan as I was for so long going way back I am familiar with so many of the stories.
Whereas wrestling, I was a kid and I didn’t know that shit for the guys I watched and the res of them I know some names but nothing else which makes the stories interesting.
Hopefully not a rehash for me but for sure some potential if they can do the same quality as what they’ve been doing!
How about Mike Russow and him refusing to stop hammer-fisting Todd Duffee despite the referee’s wishes, eventually leading to Duffee’s untimely death in the Octagon?
