wow didn't think he would come in that light. Pac man came at 142
Did there look to be a big size difference?
fuck i fell for it
LMAO Shamcock
Shamcock - boxing experts said it was about a 3lb size difference, not sure how they know this shit
I admit it... I laughed reading that.
Oscar will likely come in much heavier tomorrow after he re-hydrates. That's when the disparity is size will show itself. Manny's probably eaten pretty much whatever he wanted to all through camp. He held the weight well though. He was just as shredded as ever.
The height difference didn't look too bad when they faced off for pictures. Keep in mind that Manny handled Erik Morales who's about 5'11" so it's not the first time he's gave up this much height.
How did Oscar look physically? I assume he looked shredded. Dehydrated? Sickly?
i couldnt find the video, or copy the photo, but here's a link to the photo.

Oscar will probably weigh 155 lbs by fight time.
I see Shane announced he's fighting Margarito. That's pretty sweet.
From ESPN:
"When you look at both men this week, however, the size difference isn't apparent other than De La Hoya being a few inches taller than Pacquiao.
Roach, Pacquiao's trainer and one of De La Hoya's many former trainers, has insisted all along that the size difference won't make much of a difference. In fact, it was Roach who was one of the driving forces in helping get the fight made because he had such a strong belief in Pacquiao's ability to handle De La Hoya.
"Manny's been getting bigger all the time, he's getting older, getting thicker, and he had trouble making weight," Roach said. "Even in the Diaz fight, the day of the weigh-in we had to lose two pounds. He told me then we're not fighting at '35 again. He said we had to move to '40. Then when this fight came about, when you [media] guys started talking about this, at first I thought no way, I thought it was unrealistic.
"Then I started thinking about it and Oscar coming down in weight and Manny going up. For the Diaz fight, he went into the ring 146½ pounds [24 hours after the official weigh-in] and I thought he might be a little sluggish, his speed might be affected because he gained too much weight. But he fought a perfect fight. He's that type of athlete. He's a great athlete. He just performs. Speed and power is something he has and it's really hard to deal with.""
Atlas is picking Pac.
That was funny. Hoya tried not to smile when they asked how much more weight they think he would add before the fight as he said a HUGE lie...
"Uh...only about 5 pounds..."
Ha...yeah right....
Why is Sugar Shane checking out Manny's rear end in that pic???
that couture + lesnar pic looks shopped
he's like twice as big
fuckin humongous
If Pacman manages to win my mind will be blown. I'm rooting for him (though I like Oscar too), but I think Oscar will knock him out.
Fighters tend to exaggerate their height for some reason. Tyson was always listed as 6' tall but he's MAYBE 5'10" tall (maybe). Wes Sims is listed as 6'10" but I'd say more like 6'7" tops. Ken Shamrock was listed as 6' tall but I'm a few inches taller than he is and I'm 6' tall.
Considering Oscar fought at a much lower weight when he turned pro, I'd bet they exaggerated his height hoping to mindfuck his much shorter opponents before hand.
uhh...morales is NOT 5 11
Ring Magazine: "Pacquiao’s average weight during training camp was around 152 pounds, while De La Hoya claims to have maintained the welterweight limit of 147 pounds for the last month."
goku - uhh...morales is NOT 5 11
Yeah, you're right. I looked it up. Must have "mis-remembered" his height. Given how skinny he was, he sure as hell looked that tall lol.
