Before I start, I wanted to say that I'm posting from my phone and didn't sleep a min last night so I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors, run on sentences, etc.
I think that after establishing a consistent pattern where it appeared that your only goal here appeared to be making threads and posts just to piss off an entire online community for a good period of time, there's a good chance that regardless of what you posted....even when IMO you're being 100% sincere with this public apology, you'll just have to expect some hate filled replies for now.
Right now, every fan on here is mourning in their own way. Everybody handles death differently, and some people tend to handle the grief with anger.
Like I said earlier, you would've probably caught some shit no matter what. However, the fact that one of the times you were in character, you happened to do it to a contracted UFC fighter who also happened to be a respected and loved UG/OG brother that just past away.....and unfortunately for you, one of the last times Shane came on here was the time where you almost drove him off the site. So you're probably going to catch heat for some time.
I'm sure with his training and everything that goes with that, I'm sure he barely had time to come in here.....but when he did, he did it for his fans.
The one thing I remember from that thread was how he was about to stop coming here and chat with us because he was sick of it. I begged him not to leave because 99% of the posters here wouldn't shit on him. He replied "it's because of fans like you that I won't leave". I'll always remember that.
Anyway, regardless of our feud, I genuinely believe you feel awful and you were being genuine with your apology. Kudos to manning up and publicly apologizing. I think you went this route instead of via PM because you're apologizing to multiple people.
