What fights are the UG looking forward to in these shows?
I’m not blown away by many of the fights to be honest. There are tons of good fights, don’t get me wrong, just nothing with that “superfight” feel. Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Edson Barboza is probably the most compelling fight on these five cards. I’ve wanted to see Cyborg vs Holm for a long time so thats cool. Getting to watch Tenshin fight perhaps twice is a gift, kids awesome. A potential Horiguchi vs McCall fight is cool and I admire Rena’s skills. Tournaments are great. Can’t sleep on Rivera vs Lineker. Not dying to see any specific fight on the KSW/ACB cards but they are filled with many talented fighters and should be good cards overall.
2017 won’t go down as one of the biggest or best “end of year/NYE” sets of shows in MMA history but should be solid.
Man, got too many other things I want to do today, don’t think I can watch much of ACB, KSW… for sure want to watch some though.
Getting sort excited for Rizin just because of the JMMA NYE tradition.
Just watched the Countdown and got pumped for this UFC. While the dog, Holm is still the toughest test of Cyborg’s career, also one of the few WMMA fights I’ve really been dying to see for a while.
Don’t sleep on Holm here, if she had a great camp and is focused, she can win this.
For sure one of the most interesting fights in WMMA history.
You know Barboza, he is the dog here but if he lands one of his many kill shots, thats it.

Almost Rizin time.
Very happy I decided to watch the first night of Rizin.
That was a great night of fights.
Been watching this BW tournament since it started in July, did not like that they split the 16 man “total elimination” part of the tournament into two shows and gave two fighters byes but oh well… I’m over it.
Its been a great tournament. Sucks McCall got cut by the ropes, he has had some of the worst luck in MMA history. Horiguchi looked tremendous, so fun to watch. Otsuka and Ishiwatari really showed how to pull out a win.
Can’t wait for the semi finals and finals.
If your on the fence about ordering Rizin, I doubt you will be disappointed. You can always watch it Sunday if you don’t want to stay up all night to watch.
Man, the two Rizin December cards were the highlight of the MMA year for me.
You knew the NYE card was going to be good when Takada had laser beams shooting out his hands before a single punch was thrown.
