Yea looks like the leg was hurting and Derrick wanted to quit.
I think he wanted to quit over the leg and gave himself up for a knock out.

Comparatively how he used to be he looked to be in good shape. Those leg kicks is what killed Lewis.

Gane is most certainly the better fighter and he was going to win anyway … But that fight ended with a series of like 9 strikes to the back of the head …

Yes he quit, every gave himself up to be knocked out but it did not happen.
My guess is that the leg kicks were hurting him and he wanted to get knocked out or find a way out.

Holy shit a fight broke out.
Watching Gane is the same feeling as watching young Jon Jones, just complete technical mastery, athletic advantage over every other fighter, somehow blessed with an iron chin, looks like he has Hercules strength in the clinch.
Unfortunately for Gane, he coasts at times while being levels above guys and it’s really boring, Jon suffered from that at times but nowhere near as bad as Gane.
I mean Francis always has a punchers chance but Gane is the most skilled fighter top to bottom in the world.

Well, I was wrong. I called a win via point fighting, but Gane went for the kill. Seems like a good guy.
Jones takes him down he might get himself tapped.
Well the fight went exactly how it was predicted to go, Gane would have point fought to an easy victory had Lewis leg not obvious gave out and gave Gane the opening to go for the kill.
It’s incredible how hard Gane was throwing at the end, those thuds were wild, why not mix some of those haymakers in with his regular technical striking? He obviously has crazy power.

Francis better play games and find a way out of this fight or bye bye belt. This cunt refuses to get punched. I’m kinda turned. It’s awesome haha. Didn’t watch the post fight. Rather leave liking him.

I think Gane surprised Lewis with his power. I wouldn’t be surprised if that first right hand that caught Lewis (where Lewis claimed eye poke) may have fractured his orbital. From then on, every time he got hit there it was bothering him

When Lewis said 100 times this week he felt pressured fighting in Houston I kind of expected that performance. But credit to Gane he’s going to make Ngannou look just as bad. He’s a very hard guy to look good against.
