I’d pick Gane against both in the same night.
If Francis doesn’t land the one hitter quitter it’s over, Gane is thoroughly beating his ass, Lewis was in those same shoes tonight, look how that worked.
Jones should hang em up, he’s past his peak, he lost his last 2 fights at LHW, and fighting Gane is insanity. Stipe was always a winnable fight, hell DC moved up and beat Stipe, Ngannou and Gane are dangerous dangerous fights for Jones legacy IMO.
Lol at people saying Gane point fought, didn’t engage etc. He went for it several times. Fought a perfect fight. Total domination.

Very happy to see him go in and get the finish when he coulda just tooled Derrick around for 5. That’s really all I needed to appreciate him. Francis ends up similar IMO.
This separates him from the “point fighters.” He did go in and get the finish on someone people described as basically a nuke if he engaged. He fought like he’s been fighting, but when the time was right and he decided to do it, he went and finished it.
I’ll look forward to seeing him again more than I did before. He made Lewis give up. Maybe that’s too harsh for me to say as someone who doesn’t do this, but that’s what I felt like… and far before the finish.

He’s too good. He’s made his fights so lopsided and uncompetitive that they aren’t fun to watch. I appreciate that he’s excellent but the fights you mentioned and tonight’s fight we’re all terrible. It’s not his fault that his opponents offer nothing in return but you can’t really expect people to enjoy watching these fights.
