Get him to a shrink for some self help, keep your head up Max, keep training and keep moving forward.Max should not be criticized for taking a short notice fight in a not so good matchup against a super tough veteran with A LOT more experience than him. The kid walked into the arena and fought. He gets my respect. He knew when he was done. Live to fight another day. He will be back and he will be harder on himself than anyone especially after he reflects on his decision. War max.
Funny that so many of the people that complain about the weakness of this generation is now defending one of the mentally weakest moments ever seen in the UFC.
Quitting when you're injured is one thing. Quitting in the midst of taking a beating is another. This wasn't that. This was a fighter in a fight he had a chance to win, deciding that when times got tough he didn't even want to try anymore.
