Did Bellator cut Horiguchi too?

Did Horiguchi refuse a catchweight option or something? Coker said “time to say goodbye to both of them” so I’m wondering.

Borg getting cut for missing weight for the 100th time while being 5’3 is one thing but I’m wondering why he said both of them.

Personally if I was Coker I’d cut Carmouche, get rid of WFLW and give Horiguchi a raise and say thanks for competing here instead of RIZIN.

While exact details remain unclear, Bellator president Scott Coker told MMA Junkie the promotion attempted multiple new contract weights to keep the fight afloat after Borg’s team informed them he was unlikely to make weight. Still, Borg did not weigh in, the bout was scrapped, and he was immediately cut from the Bellator roster.

“This is a professional fight league,” Coker told MMA Junkie. “This is not an amateur tournament. I think it’s time to say goodbye to both of them, and we’re going to move on and let them fight somewhere else, and good luck.”

It sounds like “cut both of them” is in regards to both of them weight missing assholes.

Horigichi wasn’t cut. The other fighter who missed weight was cut along with Borg

Ok, thanks, that makes sense. I didn’t watch the event and just read the article and it made no mention of someone else missing weight so the two fighters I was thinking of were Horiguchi and Borg.
