Did Mir's Kimura pop Nog's shoulder?

? Isn't that what a Kimura ordinarily does? Yet looked like nog's arm snapped instead Phone Post

What part of arm? Phone Post

Apparently his shoulder was injured aswell but no news on that that im aware of.

sure as hell looked to me like his shoulder was tweaked. when he tried to roll over and look at it, he moved his sholder but his arm didn't move. well above the break.

Reasonable Discourse - In the Gracie breakdown today, they said that a kimura actually attacks the elbow joint more-so than the shoulder. (this was before they knew of Nog's broken arm). They showed exactly what they were talking about and it made complete sense to me.

Nog's break backs up what they say in the video think. Remember hod Tim Sylvia's arm broke? You would think that armbar would've hyper-extended his elbow, but it snapped his forearm instead.

Sylvia's forearm broke because Mir was not deep on the arm bar.

An arm at does attack the elbow joint.

that must have hurt bad i couldnt even watch the replay

Mister Joshua - I hope not. Even though I now dislike Big Nog, I don't want him permanently injured. i hope he comes out okay

His humerus was snapped completely in half.

I wanted to start this exact same thread. To me, my shoulder always felt like it would explode, and I've never felt pressure in my arm. Is it possible that it affects people differently, say if the person already has a weak shoulder or something like that?

GTFO with that disliking Nog bullshit....if he wanted to go for a sub he's got every right to do so, and as pointed out on a previous thread you clearly weren't a big fan in the first place Phone Post

Minotauro didn't think it was very humerus

Well the sylvia arm break was because he was trying to pull his arm out and so his elbow wasn't the fulcrum, his forearm was. Phone Post
