He's not as likable when speaking that language....reminds me of watching a Nazi movie with subtitles.
The guy speaks perfect English but didn't use it all week.
Did Dana give the order? I can handle the truth.
been wondering the same thing. He speaks fluent English.
He speaks fluent English German and Russian such a scholar that Conor is not
Stu Cazzo - He's not as likable when speaking that language....reminds me of watching a Nazi movie with subtitles.I posted this on another thread, I don't know if he speaks English that well, I think he understands it okay and has good pronunciation of English words but isn't totally fluent. I talked to him in Facebook earlier this week in german and asked if we could switch to English because my german isn't the greatest but he preferred to speak german.

basically he told you to get back in your box
Reacting to someone in a non native language takes a bit longer, and you tend to translate sentences exactly how you would say them in your native language.
They sound very off, sometime even arrogant or the opposite.
Maybe now since they can show the UFC on tv in Germany he wants to speak German so they don't have to subtitle him for his own country

Yes, right after the girl scouts finished making crop circles.
Kneeblock - Televised Siver is speaking directly to his fans.

Kneeblock - Televised Siver is speaking directly to his fans.WAR SIVER!!
Lol at "reminds me of watching a Nazi movie with subtitles"
The German language is harsh on the ears no doubt.
If McGregor doesn't have to speak English I don't see why Siver should have to.
TexDeuce - Lol at "reminds me of watching a Nazi movie with subtitles"Merican patriotism movies have taught me to unconsciously dislike German language.
The German language is harsh on the ears no doubt.
It's hard on the ears and my Merican/Sicilian heart.
wrestling4life -Honestly think its a bit of both.UGCTT_Messiah - Maybe now since they can show the UFC on tv in Germany he wants to speak German so they don't have to subtitle him for his own countryMay be on to something
LOL is it considered racist if the narrator in the intro says that Siver wants to flip the 145 division on its "Axis"?
If he was completely fluent in both he wouldn't have a translator there and would just translate it himself I would tend to believe. He seems to understand it fine but like others have said reacting to and answering a question is a bit different.
The televised part probably plays a part in it as well.
