Diego Sanchez’s wild UFC run is over

I think it’s simpler than that. Weird dudes attract other weird dudes. Diego was always the oddball at the gyms…even though people worked out with him and considered him a friend, they all thought he was weird and I’m sure he knew it. They tolerated the weird shit, but never were all that interested in it.

So as Diego is obviously getting to the end of his career, some other weirdo meets him, talking all kinds of weird shit about how he’s such an amazing athlete with all this untapped potential that these idiot coaches can’t pull out of him because they just don’t understand, bro. They’re used to regular guys without this much potential, and they don’t know how to deal with exceptional athletes like you. Have they ever shown you how to snap someone’s neck? I’m not talking about choke them out, bro…I’m talking kill them LEGALLY if they don’t tap, bro. Check this shit out, don’t worry I won’t do it for real…you feel that shit bro? A little more pressure, and if you’re not tapping, you’re dead bro. DEAD.

Diego asks him where he learned that, and then they have a weird as jerk session where he talks about his special military training that’s too hardcore to even show regular people, and fast forward a weird as month or two and they’re best friends sitting at a pizza shop telling war stories about how these people don’t even realize they could snap their necks in less than a second if they wanted to.

Diego is talking about his weird ass techniques that he came up with that nobody at Jackson’s cared about, but this dude is intently listening, and telling him that his stupid as shit is amazing. I don’t think this guy is a snake oil salesman who tricked Diego…I think they’re both weird dudes who truly believe everything they’re saying, and are super interested all the weird shit the other one does.

I thought Sanchez spent almost his entire career with G Jackson.

No joke , if Triller was to put together a fight b/w Edmund and Favia I’d buy the PPV. Those 2 silly fucks should be outfitted with razors like the cockfighters they are and fight to the death.

No, he left after gsp started training there.

He left and then came back

I respect Diego. He is a ride or die/all in kind of person.
But diego has always been susceptible to manipulation. He wants to believe in something and has literally fallen for anything multiple times.

Diego and Nick is still one of my favorite fights.

I wish Diego nothing but the best. He earned his place.

Thanks Diego,

ditch Vagia Faggia

Yeah they’re like two Napolean Dynamite characters. Being best friends doing ridiculous things and behaving in ridiculous manner.

I respect Diego. I think he got the most out of his skills, great career even though he was never champ

Definitely. I would have told him to gtfo immediately.

there was a blurb on the news about this

Exactly…Diego isn’t being manipulated by a cunning con artist, two odd dudes happened to find each other and end up being BFFs because of all their weird shit. I think this dude believes all the shit he’s saying, and truly believes he’s helping Diego.

I completely disagree.

Fabia speaks well and does not appear to be dumb enough to believe what he teaches. In other words, he appears on the level of a con-artist and very capable of seeing Diego’s value to his brand (AKA ability to make money) and is simply using him for that reason and perhaps other reasons as well (sexual?!).

Diego was one of my favorite fighters to watch simply because he seems batshit crazy.

Plenty of people because ir changes the dynamic of their relationship and explains why he acts the way he does towards Fabia.

In regards to that, not being honest about who you are is a weakness that can be manipulated. It’s like walking around with a sign saying shellfish will kill me, can I have some?

No real man cares if you’re gay, just don’t be a faggot.
Worst thing a gay man can do is try to be something they aren’t. It makes them vulnerable and it makes guys like me think you are a coward.

Combat sports is full of cavemen and we like it that way, but some people get confused about the macho bullshit. I feel bad for dudes that aren’t comfortable enough with themselves to just be what they are. Whatever they happen to be. Carry yourself like a man, that’s where respect begins and ends.
“It’s nobodies business” is 100%true but when you let your personal life become a weapon against your professional life you have made some mistakes. Those mistakes can be erased, especially in today’s climate, with simply taking that weapon away from those that would harm/manipulate you.

I completely disagree. When he’s talking to the athletic commission about a move he taught Diego that he may use that could KILL Michael Chiesa in the fight, he’s not joking. He thinks he’s teaching super dangerous stuff that isn’t illegal in MMA, but could kill someone.

He’s not faking it to build his brand, he thinks it’s all legit.

It’s always very grey with charlatans. You never know where they start and the act ends. After awhile I think they stop knowing, but deep deep down they know they’re manipulative con men and get off to their superiority complexes.

And what was the drama in the video about?
