Can someone please explain how prayers to Jesus works? Does JC wait to see how many people pray and which way and then go “yeah, JJ gets it”?
I really don’t get it, mansplayne to me please, and why JJ winning is JC’s work but curing kids of horrible and agonizing cancer isn’t in the ballpark?

I think for you it is best to understand it in a Quantum physics kind of way…like visualization and meditation. Having faith in a higher power and believing he is working in your favor has an affect on your psychology and reality… I believe in a positive way. To people of faith this is not just an idea but a truth. Apparently, there is power in that. I have seen many great athletes with this spiritual conviction, Christian, Muslim, etc. I have also seen atheist at the highest levels maybe even a few Satanists.
