Do All State Athletic Commissions

.. test for the weeds?  I think it's been decriminalized in 14 states now. Are there any AC's that don't have it listed as a banned substance?

If so, it would seem smart for somebody who uses it medicinally to only fight in these states.

related: Don't AC's issue waivers for TRT if it's deemed medically necessary? I wonder if this might be an option to avoid future Weedgates.

^ that is some interesting shit right there.

If nothing else, this debacle is making a few people like myself more informed on this topic. I don't smoke at all or have any inclination to, but its seems so silly that this plant carries with it such a negative conotation. It's baffling.

Alcohol is legal, but you can't fight drunk. They are not looking for small amounts, they want to know you are not as high as a kite when you fight.

They are all roundup ready.

it looks as if, unless he got high RIGHT before he walked out, they wouldn't really be able to tell too well. Sad story either way.

Are you saying trace amounts would be ignored if it signified that they had used marijuana long enough before the fight that it would still effect them?

Or are you saying that they test for it to ensure people are not high during the fight, and people who have trace amounts from prior use are caught as a consequence of that?

As you can tell by that graph, it does stay in the fat cells for a long time. Because people have a different amount of fat cells in their body that amount of time isn't always the same, but it can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, also depending on how much you use. Diaz himself claims that he can pass a test in 8 days, and as someone who sweats a lot and has a low body fat % that is believable.

Not sure if he misjudged his "cycle", or if maybe the pressure was getting to him so he medicated. Maybe he just thought fuck it.
