dodge and weave anderson dodge and weave!

he ate the kick in a bad spot. lucky it wasnt crocop

Starting at 1:44 watch how He spars with Nog. He practices slipping punches all the time and apparently practices eating shots, and rolling with them slightly.

So basically you're saying Anderson knows what combo his opponent is going to throw due to having practiced throwing and dodging those same combos in practice and being at such a high level himself

It's like a tennis player knows where the opponent's serve is going to go based on how the opponent serves the ball, but to us it boggles our minds that someone can even react to a 140 mph serve, much less return it.

jjj2121 - If Rich would have fully rotated his left leg on the head kick attempt, Anderson was going to eat Rich's shin.

Agreed - that was a VERY risk duck by Silva.  He got away with it, but it very easily could have been a highlight reel KO for Franklin.  Silva's not even looking to check the height of the kick, just estimating and looking away (not that one should look into a kick if one isn't blocking it).

In fact, I think he may have gotten timed on that kick by Franklin, who saw that he was in one of his forward bobs and threw a kick.  Silva is already in motion with the  bob when he sees the kick coming, decides the best way to deal with it is to exagerrate it and duck even lower than normal, turning his head away from the blow.

disbeliever - Hes got his eyes on rich. Headmovement in MMA is pretty rare. He probabaly ducked the kick on purpose, and then just moved in case there was follow up, which he knew there would be
Agreed.   He does some of that in response to anticipated strikes that he sees coming, and other times he is doing it just in case there's followup that he doesn't see coming.

there is nothing lucky or 'just in case' about silva. he sees everything coming. you rubes are just trying to explain away his greatness. if you guys had that kind of head movement you would understand it, but all you guys can do is pontificate.
