Short notice fight against Josh Emmett is a tough night out but some books actually have Mitchell as the favorite.
I’d say he definitely has a chance but I don’t really see how anyone has him as the favorite.

Bryce is very easy to hit on the feet. Emmet has very big power and is physically strong. I think Bryce is more skilled, but he needs it on the ground, preferably with him on top. Its a tough task. If I had to bet money with even odds, I’d take Emmett.

Even with the power of Christ, Bryce at -215 is fucking wild. Stylistically this is not a good match up for him.

I see it as going similarly to his fight against Topuria, with the exception being Emmett will finish him on the feet.
I do too but Topuria is much more of a killer than I realized and Emmett is somewhat long in the tooth. If Mitchell wins it would be better in terms of selling future fights because he is so eccentric and controversial. To give Mitchell his due if it goes to the ground and he is on top, I think he wins either by sub or decision. If Emmett ends up on top he wins by TKO.
